September 28- Today I am grateful that Toby and I got to enjoy some time together without Miss Tilly for the first time (for more than 30mins!). Mum and dad took care of her (and Basil) and we went out for a delicious lunch. A post about that coming.

September 26- Today I am grateful for Toby and the thought he put into my card for our anniversary.
Grateful too for mums group and the lovely picnic we had this morning and for our small group sharing tonight.

Dear Toby,

Happy anniversary! We have been married for 3 wonderful years today.

I know you're not big into words so I won't gush on forever. Instead I will say this.

Our wedding day is still one of the very happiest days of my life.
I love the way that you looked at me on that day and the anticipation that we both felt about being husband and wife. We were so very happy and full of excitement for what the future would hold.

This year has been huge for us. The biggest change in our lives has been welcoming Tilly to our family. She is the best of both of us. And before she arrived we made the most of our last months as a family of two.

I love you and I am very much looking forward to spending many more years doing life with you.
AND I am looking forward too to spending some time with just the two of us again outside of the house (come on with the sleep Tilly!).

September 25- Today I am grateful for a delicious lunch out with our friend Kylie. Tilly got to visit her and Jon at work and take a photo at David's desk as he wasn't in. :(

A precious moment

Right now my Tilly Bear is teething... Again. She decided to eat some of her books today to prove the point.
Right now she is back in her cot after some mummy cuddles and prayers.
As Toby left the room she rolled over and I placed my hand gently on her shoulder. She immediately held my finger and relaxed back into sleep.
Right now I am amazed at the love I have for her and for the strength of our bond.
Right now I am grateful for answered prayers- for her being in our lives and for her comfort and sleep.

September 24- Today I am grateful that Tilly and I had the chance to go to a VIP baby shower this morning with my friend Jen who is expecting a bub early next year. We got to hear Pinky speak, eat some delicious macarons and drink from sweet little bottles with green paper straws and take home some great goodies from closer to nature. Jen won an amazing door prize too! Yay! Now... To plan her baby shower! :)

September 23- Today I am grateful that Tilly has slept well so far, with just one wake up after a day (or dozen!) of below average sleeping. It seems we have another tooth on the way!
