Gnocchi a success!

Last night I decided to try to make gnocchi for the first time and I am happy to report that the end product was delicious! We made a full batch and froze the second half overnight. We cooked it for lunch today and the result was a little me stodgy than last night, but still very good. I'd go as far as to say that last nights was better than most restaurant gnocchis (that tend to be softer- that's what the frozen batch was more like).

Last night I served the gnocchi with burnt sage butter and today with a spicy tomato sauce (with cherry tomatoes, hot salami, red onion, kalamata olives and feta). I liked both but Tobes definitely preferred the tomato sauce.

Here is the recipe that we used and some dodgy iPhone photos of dinner and lunch! Give them a try and let me know how it goes! :)
