March 15: Today I am grateful for my friend Carolyn who happened to be coming to our house for breakfast this morning. She came to the vet with me and held Tilly when I was talking to the vet, making decisions about Sandy, conferring with Toby on the phone and saying my final goodbyes to Sumps.
She also makes a mean strawberry sauce that went perfectly with the pancakes I made us for brekky... but at just before lunchtime!
