February 18: Today I am grateful for my parents.

I am grateful that they love us so much.
For the way that they care for us all.
For their words of advice and encouragement at the right times.
For the way that they celebrate with us.


It is mum's birthday next week and so we gathered tonight to have dinner in her honour. Toby and I gave here a quilt that was made by my mother in law... I think that it was a winner!

February 17: Today I am grateful for meeting a new doctor.
For a well rested Tilly who was very well behaved for Toby during my first hair cut and colour in a LONG time.
For Toby who was willing to give me that time out.
That i could get to Mary-Liz's retirement tonight to wish her well and see all of my old workmates at school.

A very full day, but a good one.

February 16: Today I am grateful for smiles. Real, interactive ones that can in no way be confused for wind or a one off. She was cooing and gurgling and smiling big. Love it!

February 15: Unusual, but today i grateful for the Interesting ending to Tilly's 6 day poo strike. She decided to let rip in the middle of our mothers group discussion night, just before dinner. She managed to fill 2 nappies and use all of our wipes. Her parents were a cackling mess over her- laughing so hard but trying to keep quiet. Quite confident though that everyone in the room got a whiff. Let's not leave it that long again thanks Matilda!

February 14: Happy Valentine's Day! Today I am grateful for a long and dear friend, Bec, who I had a coffee with this morning. She treated me by ordering some sweets and getting the bill. Thanks Bec! xoxo

February 12: Today I am grateful for a bath that was already run... So that when Tilly chucked straight after her first bath, I could clean her off again straight away. :) (gross I know, but often motherhood isn't glamorous!)
