April 20- Today I am grateful for mum who took on Tilly today for 2 hours when she needed to be constantly held. I went and cuddled cats at the RSPCA then scored some vintage Tupperware from Sandy. :)
Now off for some family time.

December Daily 2011

Along with many others in the scrapbooking world, I have made it somewhat of a tradition to complete a December Daily at the end of each year. I decide in November what the book will look like and set out to make the foundation, so that when December starts, I can get things doing quickly. FINALLY I have photographed it and am sharing it here!

Last year, as I was heavily pregnant at the time and also wanting something a little different to previous years, I decided to create mainly collages in Picasa to share my photos. This made printing and putting the final book together much easier. As I print at a local shop in bulk batches, I would plan where the photos would go on the day before journalling on the page.  Once again I am so delighted with how this book came together and I am looking forward to doing it all over again this year. This project is also a great way to use up a range of those old scrap bits you collect over the years and save 'just in case'!

April 17- Today I am grateful for Toby who worked from home today and mum who came over too to help after a long, wretched night. I don't remember when I was last sick like that!

April 16- Today I am grateful for new friends. Tilly and I loved having coffee(s!) today with Haley and Jack.

I am also grateful for homemade chocolate custard... And also slightly nauseated by it!

April 15- Today I am grateful for face time! I used it for the first time today when Sarah called. As she, Shane and little Leah live up in Cairns, it's lovely that we can still chat and see each other with this technology.

April 14- Today I am grateful for having our friends, Ben and Vicky over for dinner. Lasagne, salad with Persian feta and for dessert, meringues with raspberries and cream. Yum! :)
