project gratitude: 0225

February 25: Today I am grateful for quiet days in air conditioning to recover from the wedding yesterday (Tilly used all her good manners there and they were on holiday today) and to look at some photos I took. I'll post them this week, but here's a fave...

project gratitude: 0222

February 22: Today I am grateful for long, hot morning showers after long, horrendous nights.
For another broken 6 day poo strike, mostly contained to the nappy!
For coffee with the mums from group.
For a long afternoon nap (finally!).
For my family.

project gratitude: 0221

February 21: Happy birthday to mum!

Today I am grateful that she chose to give me an hour to run out and buy a few items for Friday's wedding and to make it to the post office.

I'm also grateful that Tilly was so well behaved (and smily) tonight when we went out to dinner with mum and dad to celebrate.

I also had a lovely walk with Steph and the girls this morning. It was such a beautiful morning!

February 20: Today I am grateful for our Baby Bjorn which allowed me to walk around the supermarket with Tilly sound asleep and to get a medium load of shopping bought with no help.

project gratitude: 0219

February 19: Today we had the happy surprise of a phone call from Toli and Sarah when we were catching up with Em and rehearsing for Jules and Tim's wedding on Friday.  Tol and Sare are in Melbourne for a little while and they had wheels so could pop over for a visit. It was so good for the soul to catch up with them. I can't believe that it has been over a year since they moved to Wellington, NZ.

We sat on the back verandah in the late afternoon cool, eating our curry tuna risotto cooked by Toby (sounds gross I know but it is delicious) and catching up on news since we last saw each other. It's been a pretty terrible 18 moths for them and I am grateful that they are all coming through it now happier and in a good place... just too far away from us!  We must plan a trip!
